Thanks to its fluted blade, this slicer from Global has been made even better for slicing. The main advantage of a Global fluted blade over a standard Global blade is the extra air space created between knife and food by the fluted indents. This helps reduce adhesion and improves food release, particularly useful when cutting starchy vegetables. Cleaning Global knives is straightforward and easy, simply wash your knife immediately after use in warm water with a mild detergent. Dry with a soft cloth. Blade length measures 13cm.The Global GS-51 13cm Fluted Cooks Knife has a hollow handle. Crafted from quality Cromova18 Stainless Steel. Superior razor sharp edge ground steeply to a point on an acute angle holding a sharper edge for longer. Smooth contours and seamless construction, eliminates food or dirt traps offering the ultimate safety and hygiene. Ice Hardened to Rockwell 56-58, giving a keen edge which is easily sharpened.
