THICK CUT SALT & PEPPER PORK CHOPS

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F. 
  2. Brush pork chops with peanut oil and season front, back, and sides of pork chops generously with salt and pepper. 
  3. Preheat cast iron pan over medium high heat for 5 minutes.
  4. Sear pork chops 1 to 1½ minutes on each side. 
  5. Remove from stovetop and bake for 4-6 minutes. 
  6. Let rest for 5 minutes before serving.

  • salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoons peanut oil
